DECOTEC - Jouvence Circular Economy
Fully committed to the circular economy, DECOTEC creates the JOUVENCE furniture, made from bio-based materials.
The combination of these innovative materials introduces a new perspective on responsible and committed production.
These components contribute to a new virtuous approach to raw materials.
For the countertop, the transformation of marine waste, made of bio-minerals derived from seashells and a low-carbon cement binder, produced in France.
The furniture elements are made of particle board, and the handles are crafted from solid wood, FSC®-PEFC certified.
The drawer fronts are covered in matte linoil, composed of linseed oil, pine resin, wood flour, calcium carbonate, and cellulose, which prevents bacterial growth and reduces dust and dirt accumulation.
Naturally antistatic, this silky-touch linoil is resistant to scratches, fingerprints, acidic products, oils, greases, and conventional solvents.
The JOUVENCE washbasin:
Designed in Solid Surface, the JOUVENCE washbasin is manufactured in our Composite workshop in Tuffé, Sarthe.
Solid Surface undergoes low-temperature post-curing at 90°C, which is far less energy-intensive than traditional sanitary ceramics fired at 1000 – 1200°C, while maintaining equivalent durability. This makes it a low-carbon material.
The JOUVENCE furniture, made in France, places environmental respect at the core of its production process—from the collection of natural raw materials to manufacturing—to ensure a carbon-neutral impact from cradle to gate.
DECOTEC is the only French bathroom furniture manufacturer to have received the EPV label – Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – in recognition of its excellence in craftsmanship and R&D innovation.
